COVID-19 UPDATE March 16/20

We know that you have been receiving a lot of information about COVID-19.  We wanted to update you on our clinic procedures and the precautions we are taking to protect our patients, staff and community at this time.

St. Albert Naturopathic Clinic is committed to providing a clean and safe environment for our patients.  Although this has always been a top priority, we have upgraded our cleaning protocols.   Our doctors practice diligent handwashing and gloving practices.  Our staff and doctors regularly wipe down all common touch surfaces in the reception area, doctors’ offices and throughout the clinic.   Handwashing stations and hand sanitizer are readily available for our patients.  You will notice that we have removed the magazines and children’s toys from the reception areas.  We have some new activity books that we will hand out individually to children which they are welcome to take home.

We ask that you do your part by following healthy hygiene practices including regular hand washing, coughing and sneezing into your elbow or a tissue which you immediately dispose of afterward, and avoid touching your face.

If you have traveled outside of Canada, please do not visit the clinic until you have completed the recommended 14 day period of self-isolation.   Symptoms of COVID-19 include cough, sneezing, sore throat, or difficulty breathing.   If you are experiencing any of these symptoms please stay home and call Health Link 811 for instructions.  Our patients will be screened over the phone when booking appointments.

As always we are happy to offer phone consultations to our patients.  You may book these appointments by calling the clinic or online.

Alberta Health has a dedicated website with frequent updates and information regarding COVID-19:  This is your best resource for current information and status updates.

Thank you for working with us to make sure St. Albert Naturopathic Clinic stays a safe and healthy space for all.  We looking forward to seeing you soon!
